Fall Festival

Our church had their annual fall festival a week ago. It was great fun! There was a lot of bounce houses (overwhelming), but Audrey conquered as many as she could. Candy galore, games, games and more games, tons of activity all around and it made for one happy little bumble bee!

We went to Owens Pumpkin Patch today. Audrey had a great time. She didn't quite get the whole pick out your pumpkin thing, but she gave it her best go. She was mainly interested in mimicking the boys that were throwing the pumpkins on the ground! Enjoy the pictures!

Helicopters!

While I was visiting my parents over the summer, their town did a health/safety fair at the town center. One of the features was a helicopter that you could sit in and learn about. Audrey loved the helicopter while it was stationary and off. Once they stared the engine and propellers, she was done. Enjoy the pictures!

Finally! She kind of waved after it was way up high and flying off!

Here's the rub: after we started to go back home, she cried for the helicopter! Go figure!

What a mess!

These pictures are way old, but better late then never in my opinion! I took these after I decided it wasn't worth fighting with Audrey over who got to feed her, me or herself. One morning I was busy and I just gave her the spoon and oatmeal and told her to figure it out. I probably should have paid a little more attention to her feeding herself then cleaning the kitchen. Enjoy the pictures of her attempts.

How she got oatmeal on the back of her head I'll never know!

I really hope she got enough to eat!

On the bright side... she feeds herself better now! Time makes everything better, and practice!
