Outside?.......

This is what happens when it is over 100 degrees outside and I am way too hot and tired to take her on a walk....... at that moment anyway. We did go later that evening, I promise!

What time is it?

Toddler time! Audrey has been taking 1-2 steps over the past couple of weeks, but yesterday she got it! B was installing a ceiling fan/light in our front room and all of a sudden we look over and she is walking across the room. I'm talking 10 or more steps! B and I were amazed. She hasn't shown much interest in really walking until yesterday. We are so excited about this milestone. We have been working on this with her for awhile and it was so fun to see her excitement when she got to where she was going. I'll try and post a video soon!

Sigh....

I am so behind. I really didn't mean to become a blog slacker. It just happened. I have no excuse.
Now, with that out of the way, I will give you an update:

Post surgery: Everything is doing very well. I had a minor infection, but all is good now. I have been working hard at maintaining my thyroid levels through medicine and diet/exercise. I hate that my thyroid crapped out on me, but I'll get over it. It could be worse.
I am so grateful for my mom and mom-in-law that helped me out while I was recovering. I am truly blessed to have such wonderful women in my life to guide me.

Post resignation: The jury is still out. It was the right thing to leave my last job. It was time. I'm just not sure that staying at home with Audrey is working for me. We'll see. I am giving it a couple of months to get a feel of the situation.
